New Rules and Regulations for Dubai (UAE) Free Economic Zones
DUBAI-FREE ECONOMIC ZONES ARE NO MORE FREE BEFORE LAWS
Dubai is a land which is widely stretched its wings before trade and business under the umbrella of free zones. Free zones are those designated areas which are taxed less for being more convenient to start up a business.
There are more than 45 free zones in United Arab Emirates out of which most are in the emirate of Dubai. The more the economic freedom that the country is giving to its ward, for making /starting businesses in UAE, more un-statutory they are moving to. Hence the Government has come up to a decision which helps the public more the employees to get to know the orders or any notification much easily now.
The nature of free zones is such that they are a bit likely – free from the Labor Laws and other authoritative hands; hence it is notified to have more likelihood of exploiting employees. The honorable Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has then decided to tie up the free zones and special development zones, with certain regulations namely, Law No (15) of 2016.
As per the new law, the government entities viz. free zones and special development zones are subjected to publish on their official website, any regulations or notifications or order that has been made or implemented before the public free of charge. It can be either in Arabic or any other language. Any such published orders shall be effective within 30 days of its publication.
By this new rule, the public is being advantaged to know more about the daily updating of the free zone and special zone authorities.
